Ufomammut – Warsleep
Ufomammut is an Italian psychedelic, doom metal band that formed in 1999 by Poia (guitars and FX), Urlo (bass, vocals, FX and synths) and Vita (drums), a lineup that has remained stable since. Their live show is supported by the internationally acclaimed video and graphic art of Malleus, a rock artists’ collective of which Poia and Urlo form a part, who conjure the entirety of the Ufomammut’s visual impact.
8, Ufomammut’s 8th album, is comprised of 8 tracks. It will be released via Neurot Recordings on September 22nd. The first single is titled “Warsleep”.
Bloodclot – Kali
Bloodclot, featuring Cro-Mags vocalist John Joseph, ex-Danzig guitarist Todd Youth, and ex-Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri and drummer Joey Castillo, will release their new album Up In Arms on June 14th via Metal Blade Records. Following the release of the title track late last year, the hardcore band has issued a second single called “Kali”.
The Devil And The Almighty Blues – North Road
The Devil And The Almighty Blues are a five-piece, psychedelic rock band from Oslo, Norway. The second track on their latest full-length album, titled II, is called “North Road”.
Royal Thunder – April Showers
The new album from Royal Thunder is called Wick and was released on April 7th. “April Showers” is the first single.
Bison – Tantrum
Bison has not released any new material since their 2014 EP One Thousand Needles. The Vancouver, BC band returns with You Are Not The Ocean You Are The Patient, set for a North American release on July 7th. The album serves as their first full-length to include bassist Shane Clark, former lead guitarist of 3 Inches Of Blood. The band has just issued the first single, “Tantrum”.
Viagra Boys – Upside Backwards
A couple of months ago, I shared some music from Viagra Boys, another exciting band out of Sweden. They have released a new 3-song EP, titled Call Of The Wild. Here’s the second track, “Upside Backwards”.
Rammstein – Du Hast
Rammstein: Paris is a 22-song concert film shot using 35 cameras during two shows at Paris’ Bercy Arena in 2012. The movie, from director Jonas Åkerlund, is out now on multiple formats.
