Here’s some new(er) music from Monolord, Fuzzkrank, It’s Not Night: It’s Space, Ethereal Riffian and Motörhead.
Monolord released Vænir in April of 2015 and it quickly became one of my favourite albums from last year. The Swedish doom band returns with a 10″ featuring the tracks “Lord of Suffering” and “Die in Haze”, out August 12th on Riding Easy Records. Monolord’s headlining North American tour kicks off August 5th, with a visit to Vancouver on September 10th at the Astoria.
Fuzzkrank is a retro psychedelic rock band from Asuncion, Paraguay. “Black Monolith” rounds out their self-titled debut EP.
It’s Not Night: It’s Space is a 3-piece instrumental psychedelic band from New York. “Starry Wisdom” is from their latest release Our Birth Is But A Sleep And A Forgetting, out now on Small Stone Recordings.
Ethereal Riffian is a psychedelic rock band from Kiev, Ukraine. “Drum of the Deathless” is from their new 2-song EP, I AM. Deathless. Great stuff!
Clean Your Clock was recorded during Motörhead’s European 40th Anniversary tour and released in a variety of formats on June 10, 2016. It is compiled from sold-out shows in Munich, Germany on November 20-21, 2015. These two shows would turn out to be the last Motörhead live shows ever recorded. The band’s performance of “Bomber” can be viewed below.
