Did you know that the U.K. Subs are the first ever rock band to have achieved the release of twenty-six individual LPs whose primary title letters are in sequential alphabetical order – A through to Z? The legendary punk band, still fronted by Charlie Harper, has just released their 26th and final album, Ziezo. The opening track is “Polarisation”.
2016 is shaping up to be a year of reunions: Guns N’ Roses, Misfits, The Hellacopters, The Obsessed… And now Descendents, who are back with their classic lineup. The band is releasing their first album since 2004, Hypercaffium Spazzinate, on July 29th via Epitaph Records. Here’s the lead single “Victim Of Me”.
This next track is called “Sword of Hakim” and is from Los Angeles psychedelic rock band Blaak Heat. Their third full-length, Shifting Mirrors, comes via Tee Pee Records and Svart Records and is described as “a musical magic carpet ride littered with influences from ’60s prog-rock, ’70s Krautrock, Middle Eastern and world music.”
Vokonis is a heavy psychedelic band from Borås, Sweden. They just released their debut album titled Olde One Ascending. Here’s the third track, “Acid Pilgrim”.
