For the first time since early November, I went for a skate today. And I felt like hell.
Major detour affected my route today. Parks crew was doing rock scaling along the seawall (all the way around the Point). It is closed Monday to Friday for the next 3 weeks.
Not to make up any excuses – because I really haven’t felt great out there the last couple of times – but skating when the path is wet and covered in foliage is not any fun.
Inline Skating – 2017.10.23 Slow pace today…
Great day in Vancouver. Pathways were busy. I consistently pass 99% of the cyclists on the bike path but got passed by another skater today. First time ever. He was flying pretty good.
Made it home just as it started spitting out.
Nice to get away from job boards, resumes and tragedy, even if only for an hour.
3’29″/km… Really impressed with my pace today, considering most of the pathway around Stanley Park was wet and it was a little dicey at times.
Inline Skating – 2017.09.27 I got nothing…
No world record today but I’m still a better person than these 2 knobs. (Hell, Beavis & Butthead are better than Trump & Pence.)
